Southern Praying Mantis Kungfu Academy
What an awesome traditional Kung Fu school here in Lismore. I love learning a style that has stood the test of time. Sifu Jody teaches the meaning behind applications at each level to ensure you understand every aspect of this system. The fitness and conditioning exercises are great and the weaponry at higher levels is awesome. It is certainly a very friendly and welcoming kung fu school.

Great martial arts school with friendly teachers and great role models. Well structured classes. My children love their teachers and it appeals to both my children’s different personalities. It is nurturing. Sets good discipline and expectations. Highly recommend.

Chunmei Yang - Remedial Massage Therapist
Went to see Chunmei yesterday as I had muscle aches and my whole body was in pain after house moving. She did a wonderful job in my body and after 2hrs of massage I felt very good. Today I woke up free of pain and rejuvenated. Thank you Chunmei for your wonderful massage. I will definitely come back!

Taichi for Life
Hubby & I just started learning Wu Shu (kungfu) there at the moment, and it’s mind-blowingly-amazing to see more experienced students practicing weapons. Master Tang was team-mates with Jet Li, and his passion and knowledge of Wu Shu is apparent in everything he does and in his charming antidotes of ‘the olden days...’. If you’ve ever dreamt of being a ‘grasshopper’ training with a great master (haha that was my secret wish before I ‘grew up’), look no further.

Tai Chi Sydney
I started my Tai Chi journey with Larry and couldn't be happier he guided my first steps into it. The class feel like a safe space where people are allowed to explore and learn at their own pace, and how to integrate the principle of this art in their daily life. Plus, Larry prepares an excellent tea :)

The Tai Chi Club
I've attended many workshops conducted by The Tai Chi Club and I can't recommend them enough for anyone wanting to improve their balance, coordination and mindfulness. The instructors are knowledgeable and professional and the classes are a great way to meet new people. Beginners like myself are given a warm welcome and are looked after. I can't wait for the next workshop!

Kung Fu Academy
When I came to the Academy, I was EXTREMELY hesitant to learn the art of Kung Fu. My attitude on the first day was extremely appalling. However, I was able to see the rewards through full-on perseverance in the martial art, thanks to my strict father. Over a six month period, I was able to achieve Yellow and Green sash through large amounts of encouragement and hard core drills from my instructors, and the friendships I had attained from the students around me. This Academy does produce results, and I can promise it. My recommendation for the Academy is if students can begin to have access at lower ranks to use the weapons under close supervision from the coaches. Shifu Teja. A. Jaensch (the Head Instructor) and his team have most certainly done well with the Academy, being ranked one of the oldest and most prestigious Kung Fu Academies in Sydney.
